Summary

• We seek: All volunteers are welcome, including psychologists and pedagogues.
• Spanish level required: Basic (Level A2)
• Minimum time: 6 weeks
• Other requirements: none
• Location: half an hour from the center of Cuenca
• Tasks: Support in the care of young children.
• Working days: Every day that is possible. Open all year long.

Project description
This home is for children aged 0 to 6 years and is divided into two living rooms. The group of children aged 0-30 months and the group of children aged 30 months to 6 years. Children live at the home until they can return to their parents or a family to adopt them. A psychologist and a doctor examine children at the entrance. If necessary, the therapist organizes activities with the child to stimulate self-development. The orphanage has special areas for exercise. When children reach school age, they are moved to another home.

•Volunteers with medical knowledge can support the medical staff

How can you help?
Volunteers can help with the daily care and guidance of various fun activities for children. Maintenance tasks are left as much as possible to the administrative staff. Volunteers help more in activities such as cooking, making the beds, organizing activities, etc.

Cost
This project just requires a $50 administrative fee once. Additionally, we suggest you to do voluntary contribution for this organization.
